Data processing agreement

For client, patient, appointment, and record data entered by a provider, the provider usually acts as controller and Yoyaku as processor. Yoyaku processes that data under provider instructions and to provide the contracted service.

Instructions include storing, retrieving, updating, deleting, backing up, protecting, transmitting to configured providers, and displaying data according to product features and account permissions.

When the relationship ends, the provider may request export or deletion, subject to technical limits, backups, legal obligations, and fraud or abuse prevention.
